    hey guys im building a fuge with overflow dividers. do i need a special kind of silicone sealant? will it release toxins into my water?

    to my understanding, you want to use 100% silicone. they should have it at your local hardware store or lfs. i know my lfs has it

    Best to buy aquarium silicone sealant, when its cured, fully dry, its perfectly reef safe

    Well, I don't know about any "big box stores" as neither Lowes or Home Depot carries it (at least around here). But PetCo has it. That's where I got mine.
