Don't use silicone.. It's going to take too long dry, surfaces must be dry, & silicone even aquarium grade needs to be rinsed with warm water.. I'd stick to epoxy & yes it dries underwater. Keep in mind though aquarium safe... If you want to glue coral frags use krazy glue gel. Epoxy can kill your coral, due to the fact it gets too hot for the coral frags during the curing process. Rocks you'll be fine..

    The rocks aren't wet.
Is there anywhere I can get epoxy besides the internet?
It jsut seems too expensive for the little amount you get.

Lowe's also has a two part epoxy in tube looks just like what people pay 3x more for to set corals its made by Hercules Chem Co its in the plumbing dept . Plumbers Epoxy and make sure you get the one for Plastic pipe .. Not the metal pipe stuff.
I have used tons of it as both a comercial coral farmer and a plumber or 45yrs ( and again the DAP 3.99 100% silicone is the same stuff they sell as aquarium silicone . And It will bond to rocks . I myself have never found a need for either to set my rocks in place I interlock them like a stone wall . I have used this stuff to build and rebuild and repair more tanks then I could try to recall if I even wanted to.

You can't find everything on the web site thats why i told you to go to the plumbing dept on the end of the plastic pipe fitting Isle you will find it at any Lowe's right where they keep the solder and flux and putty

Lowe's does not list much professional stuff on the web like Insulation is hard to find even. Most all the sell on line is home owner stuff or high profit materials .
