    how long do you think I should let it cure for? 30min? 1hour? 5hours?day?

    LOL, are you a lawyer working for GE?

    This has been brought upo time and time again. The reality is that GE1 used to say "ideal for use in aquarium building" or something darn near that, but the label was changed when either the customer support center was overwhelmed with inquisitive reefers asking if it was reef safe, or that GE wanted to have AGA's sealant (made by GE) sell more. The bottom line is that it IS reef safe, and countless people have used it long term with no issues, and for all anyone can tell, the product is exactly the same just ina different tube and costs 3x as much from AGA/ aqueon.

    I am stepping off the soapbox now.

    Ideally until the vinegar ammonia whatever smell is gone. I waited 3 days and the smell was gone.
