If I switch over to the AI lights, will I still need to run my PC lights as well? I currently run 2x250watt MH and 4x96 watt PC's. Can I get rid of all of that when I go to AI's? Looks like it would cut my energy consumption by 575watts, if I run the AI's at full power! Only problem is the $3k its gonna cost up front!

Im assuming you are running the PC's as actinics? If so you shouldnt need them with AI, each color of the LED is controllable independetly from 0 to 100%.

That would be correct, they are actinics

So if your buying 5 or 6 ais. You could also use 3 orphek pr156's. Would be cheaper. Save about 500 bucks. No dimming but they have the best spectrum for coral growth.
