    I really was going to wait, but I added a flame angel yesterday!

    I can't get a good picture of him, so he's a generic one, although I'm sure you all know what they look like.

    Since he's only "reef safe with caution" I'm not too confident about adding inverts anytime soon. Hopefully I can find something he won't want to pick at.

    "Silly you" ::)

    Is beautiful fish.

    Will add great color to tank.

    Usually fairly reef safe...but like with mostl fish, there are some bad honchos out there. :-/

    Best of luck with yours.

    Really! Even better :p I thought the cleaners were a different species entirely.

    Any suggestions for flame angel/PC light compatible first corals and time ? I'm thinking a brain, and yes I'm hijacking my thread...

    Yup, peppermints are cleaners, they're just a bit more timid than skunk cleaners are.

    You can try a brain or any type of soft coral or hardy lps coral. I would think you'd want to buy a cheaper coral to test the fish out first before you dump alot of money on something that it might decide to peck at.

    Thanks! Posted the same question in the coral forum, but you beat me to it! I thought I needed MH lights for LPS?

    So pretty! Flame angels have always been my favorites to gaze at in the LFS; a bit out of my league right now though. Would probably have to put it in a different tank (and i would have to wait for it to age at that). Oh well, one can dream :)
