    When you feed the nem, pull the silverside or shrimp away from the nem after it gets a tentacle on it. That will give the previously frozen food a little "fight" to it. ;)

    I agree with sollie and horkn. Going the live route is kinda uneccessary. I personally dont like killing live feeder fish either, but thats just me. You can buy the frozen ones pretty cheap and just give the silverside a tug or two to simulate some fish distress. Its just probably alot easier to go that way.

    Wait, freshwater Rosy Reds? You sure those "silversides" aren't freshwater? I have been in this trade for a long time and I have never seen a live silverside (marine) offered. They feed on phytoplankton and are extremely hard to care for in marine aquaria.
