so i gave back my singapore angel as he was actively nipping on my corals, i will miss him a lot despite him being one of my "shyer" fish…. :(

but with that i fulfilled a little dream, i went and got a Pseudanthias squamipinnis she is magnificent to say the least and a very active and interesting fish.

unfortunately my LFS had only one of these, in fact it was the only one in the middle of an array of mall nourished Pseudoanthias pleurotaenia….

anyway, my question for you guys is this:i told my lfs to call me when he gets a new shipment of lyre tail as i would like to add another one or two in order to form a pair, but i fear bullying.... the lfs assured me that as long as they are all females there will not be a problem if i add them at a later date. theoretically i would agree as the hierarchy has not formed yet, but wanted to run this by you people as well.

i am already overstocked and because of this i find myself in a little bit of a situation… part of me would love to have a maximum of three (hopefully one dominate male will appear with two females) but i don't think it would be very wise… and the other part of me tells me that a simple solution to all fears is to keep her alone (will she be okay on her own?)

on a side note two days after i gave back my Chaetodontoplus mesoleucus i observed significant PE improvement on all my sps

as the thrill of the new addition settles, i think ill simply stay with a single specimen.

its my very first anthia and i have done some reeding on them in the past, from what iv been through they seem to require heavy feeding or at least more than the average fish.

i feed my tank twice a day with home made fish food, roughly half an ice cube in the morning and the other half in the afternoon. this should suffice no?

just a comment that the fish is beautiful! Love the coloration on it! I've never kept them so bump for your question on feeding.
