    Wondering what everybody thinks about 1 Cool White Cree being enough lighting to grow chaeto??

    I have 1 LED left over from my RapidLED build, and instead of having a PC light in my stand a single LED mounted 4" over the water would be a lot neater!!

    You're still going to have to buy a heatsink and a drive so for the money that is going to cost you then you may as well go with one of the led pendant lights like a par30 or something of that nature as it will give you MUCH more light and cost about the same amount

    Heatsink I have, and no need for a driver, just single LED with a simple DC inverter.
