    I poked the database with a stick and got it back up.
    I will play with the config with weekend as it has been acting up again lately.
    Thanks to those that let me know. I usually receive database errors in email, but not this time. Anyway...

    if you ran a linux based system instead of windblows, chances are it wouldnt happen again.

    It is linux. :)

    edit: it has nothing to do with the server OS, it's the database config. i will deal with it. it's been on my list..
