six line or mandarin????

    ok so if copepods were not an issue i have a sixline in my tank right now would you get rid of the six line and get a mandarin or keep the six line. bye the way i can only have one or another

    I know you want a mandarin badly, but unless you have a huge refugium, then I don't think a mandarin will fare well, even in a 55g.

    my vote is also stay with the 6 line
    much easier to cater for and IMO a very attractive fish anyway

    I've read that mandarins are really hard to take care of. Stick with the 6 line. Very pretty!!

    i say, get a fuge and get a mandrian :) lol but for real, six lines are awsome fish i have one in my 180, i do plan on keeping a pair of mandys but i also have 400+ gallons. I will never have a tank with out a six line they are one of my favorite fish

    i know there hard to take care of i am thinking of getting a 10-25 gallon fuge for my tank do you think thats enough even with a six line

    Just make sure not to plan on any other wrasses if you intend to always have a 6 line. Once you lose an expensive wrasse from a nasty 6line attack, then you would reconsider.

    A 4 line Hawaiian wrasse looks like a reverse 6 line, but are not as mean towards other wrasses.

    i also have a pair of flashers and a green orantae wrasse which the six line pays no attention to at all
