    Came home.. couldn't find him.. after a day smelled somtething fishy.. he wiggled underneath my chiller.. what an awesome fish though.. :(

    well ive joined aqualungs club my sixline jumped abotu two weeks ago. bad news- he was used to the tank and finnaly wasnt spending all his time in the rocks and was actually out. good news i now will be purchasing a mandarin on May 22, 2010 (my 17th birthday) hopefully by that time my pod population will have recovered and ill be able to acquire my male red mandarin!!!!!!!!!!

    Definitely good luck with your mandarin!! I know some that can keep them in 30g while others can't even keep them in 125g.

    I have a healthy, plump mandarin in my 30g. He eats newly hatched brine, formula 2 marine pellets and various pods but eating prepared foods or even anything else alive besides pods is in no way/shape/form the norm. I had retty good luck with all of my live stock. He is one of my FAVORITEEEEE fish to watch too :)
