Six line or Mandrin

    Your probally right! I just always see the pods on the glass. Always! So I guess I assumed(you know what they say about assuming) that my manderin has sufecient food. I probally did not look into it enough. I actually took on two of the three 6 lines as helping a friend watch them and they have been here since so if they are killing it good for them bad for the manderin I really want in my tank!

    Hmmm...you can buy DT's bottle of pods to dose your tank with. Maybe half in the tank, half in the fuge, then see how your pod population is? I don't really know what to do about the six lines, because I know I would have to take out every rock in our tank to catch our six line :lol:

    I have a mandarin in my 60 and i have to say is one of the coolest fish BY FAR!! The mandarin i have eats brine shrimp and mysis (Frozen). I melt the frozen cubes and strain away the water with my net. He has never had a problem eating these in my experience. This fish is fun to watch scoot around the tank with its unique fins and swimming style and the colors are like no fish in the hobby i like to say.
