9 months, he ate all my pods :) and Rods fish food. Great little fish and will be missed.

    Incorrect.

    Correct.

No worries here. They're a good fish in a frag tank; note they won't tolerate new additions once established in a tank of that size, so make sure you add one last.

    Hurray- the wrasse master speaks!

To your point about new additions- he will the last livestock and the only fish addition that I will be making. Right now, I have a bunch of nerite, mini cerith, and astrea snails in there, as well as a peppermint shrimp to help control aipstasia. The six line is the last member of my frag maintenance crew!

Well, I just picked up a very happy, healthy little six line from Petco (yes, i know that many people don't like them, but the one near me is pretty good).

Anyway, I just added him to the frag tank last night and he has been happily exploring the rock work/ underside of my frag rack. He's about 1 1/2" long and was very active in the tank before I got him. I have to say he is an awesome little fish.

At my LFS there is a 6line that's tiny, only 1" long. They also have a blue tang and two yellow tangs that are super tiny. The blue tang is less than 1" and the yellow tangs are about 1.5" I can see how people can get away w/ keeping those in nano tanks while they are babies, they're just sooo small, not sure growth rates.

I'm debating on adding that 6line though. Not sure if I want any other fish before I add the 6line so that's one of my concerns. Right now in my 29g all I have is a shrimp goby and an occy clown, so its lonely. Considering a yellow clown goby before I add the 6line

Yea, the big thing I have heard is to make all of your other livestock additions before the sixline. BUT I love their behavior, and would definitely recommend one.

So just came back from the LFS and picked up the super tiny 6line, and also a GF fell in love with a Flametail Blenny. Very beautiful and personality ridden fish! Also had some amazing deals, picked up a large 2 head Frogspawn Euphyillia that I'm very excited about.

He had some beautiful clams for $50, and some amazing monti frags for $25. There was a very trippy tye-dye colored chalice that i'll be looking into as well

Nice! Well it looks like we will have to update each other on the progress with our six line's. I found out tonight that mine will eat flakes, so i'm happy about that. He seems to be settling in nicely.

Plus, I'll be moving over a few frags from my DT to make room for my 11 new frags that arrive tomorrow- primarily Favia and acans, but also a red monti, whopper zoas, and two "$5 mystery corals"

Awesome I'm excited for you. I have not seen my six-line since I put him in last night but like I said he's about 3/4" so he's tiny. He was looking around and nibbling at the rock first thing after being put in the tank though so that's a good sign.

And as far as feeding goes, my last six-line would eat all the pods in the tank and bristle worms, but also would eat any flakes or pellets I dropped in. They do not seem to be picky, and I usually feed 3-4x weekly for the fish and 2x weekly for corals
