I added a six line wrass last week. So far so good. I was wondering if anyone has any trouble with them. From what i read they can be hit or miss for a reef tank.

One of my favorite fish. However, they can be aggressive to new additions so I recommend they are added near the end of the stocking Vs near the beginning.

only problem I've had is being a jumper, other than that it's a great reef fish imho.

I have heard alot of horror storys about them. But just as many good storys, I guess time will tell for mine. I still want to add a few cleaner shrimp, do you think this will be a problem?

problem adding shrimp because of a six line?? I think your fine, I've never seen a six line do much more than chase things around if that.

Thats what i thought. I did see some posts where they went after and killed some shrimp. Ill see what happens. It is a very neat fish, fun to watch.

I have one in my 180. not sure it if harrassed my anthias or not when I added them. I doubt it as there is a ton of rock and all that thing does is cruise the tank eyeballing every square inch. fat little fish.

Fantastic fish, mine has been no problem at all. Though I suspect it may meet an untimely end because it seems to relish tormenting the coral banded shrimp and getting almost nose to nose which seems to offend the shrimp immensely.

Really one of the biggest joys in my tank is watching the six line cruise and inspect.

Love my sixline!!! My wife named her coco when we got her and that was two years ago, she is by far our favorite. At times she is a bully but never to the effect that she has killed anything. She did try her hardest to eat my pistol when I get him but I saved him, man was that a mistake, sure wish she would have... LOL JK

I just added two clowns and my sixline loves them, they swim together all day.
