well for my last fish i was wondering which one i should get i like the xmas wrasse a little more but i have a blue damsel and a newly added foxface (been in tank for about a week). i would get the xmas wrasse but im afraid it would get killed to easily by those semi-aggresive fish that I have.

IMO either one will be ok, why not get them both?

The Christmas Wrasse is not as reef safe as the Six-Line due to its possibility of consuming inverts. Both are fairly easy to maintain with the Six-Line being more so. Christmas Wrasses have a hard time getting through the shipping and collection processes, but once established, become fairly tolerant fish and ease into a captive environment rather nicely.
Six-Line Wrasses are cheaper than Christmas Wrasses, both require and feed on similar food stuff and both are vibrantly colored.
I would say either one is suitable. I have had my Six-Line Wrasse for over 3 years now and it gets along with all of my fish, even those added after it. Corals and inverts being consumed has not been a issue.
