If the fish was new, you may have been the victim (or your fish rather) of cyanide capture. It can take some time for them to die from cyanide poisoning.

The other thing to check for is the possibility of stray voltage in the tank. Do you have any other fish? Did you ever see it bounce (flash) itself off of any rocks?

Always start small and work your way out when troubleshooting though. Sorry about your fish :(

I have a Disbar Clownfish, Canary Blenny, and a Cleaner Shrimp. They are perfectly fine.

I bought him last Thursday and he died Sunday so. I'm going to go back and ask the shop, but I forgot today that all the stores are closed on Mondays.

I'm going to buy a reef test kit and I'm getting the ground for my tank to help against stray voltage.

The other day I went back to the same store and looked at the other Sixline Wrasse. I noticed it had a white/orange spot on it that didn't look like it belonged there. I'm guessing they both had a disease.

Hopefully Saturday I get my Sixline and Scopas Tang from a different store.
