    Hey guys,

I have been looking at adding another fish to my 55g tank that currently houses two oscillaris clowns, a flame angel and two reef chromis. Looking to add in about a month or two, after I have done the required reading.

I want a another fish looks good, has good personality and is reef safe. Am considering a six line.

On live aquaria it says they are peaceful and reef safe, but so many other people seem to be trying to get rid of them from the aquarium...

Why is that? I don't want to get one and then be like awwww.....

Any advice or a suitable replacement would be welcomed.

    Thanks Ryan.

Would you vote against getting one?

If you get one add it last.

i have a 6 liner and yes corailine is right they can be very aggressive, however seeing as you are adding him last i dont think he will pose much of an issue. should you wish to add fish later then he might get a little pissed seeing new comers.

im not the wrasse expert on here and this is what iv lived through, i personally love my little sixer the way he darts through and around rock work is pretty trippy.

Even if adding them last (as I did with my 90 gal), they can turn aggressive. I got a juvinille sixline, who was very peaceful for the first year, but as he matured, he started chasing and nipping at fins.

Oh, and he's impossible to trap. All the other fish would visit the trap, but not him, he was too smart for it...

Spend the extra $20 and get a peaceful wrasse.

Wow. I had a peaceful in an old tank I guess. No problems with it. I am actually considering one for my current tank. This would be the last fish for me. Interesting to hear.

yea they love to carpet surf.

the sixline i have was the last fish to be added to the tank and he is always messing with my Bicolor. he sneaking up behide him , then take off when the bicolor turns around, goes in the bicolor cave when it feeding time then runs when the bicolor sees him.
If anything they do have personality
