Sixline wrasse

Trying to get rid of my six line wrasse.. I have a fish trap in there now. Not helping much. Any suggestions...? I really need him out of there.

 

You can use a barbless hook or file the barb off a reg hook and go fishing.

 

No real easy/quick way to get it done.

 

:/ Yea I know.. I will never own a sixline again.. this guy is just evil. I might try using a hook if everything else fails.. im just going to be patient and only feed in the traps first..

 

Paitients is key, I wish you luck. I've had to tear tanks apart before and I hope it doesn't come to that for you.

 

What happened with the wrasse? +1 to hook if it comes to that.

 

i had to pull all my rock out to get my sixline out of my tank. I chased him so much in the tank he finally got tired and gave up and i was able to get him. Those things are evil anyways

 

I just re did my aqua scape but if it comes to it. I I will do it. I just can't add any fish to the tank he kills them all, He will not let up on harassing anything I add to the tank. He just needs to go.

 

A trick my buddy used to catch ours was to go to a LFS, purchase another six line in an acclimation cup, keep the cup put him in the trap. Your sixline will go nuts, attack the cup and boom trapped. Return both to the LFS. It may cost you 15 bucks, but its worth it to remove the fish IMO.

 

mmmm My lfs gives store credit for fishes too... Im really tempted to try that....
I it would really only cost like ten bucks...
