My sixline wrasse spends a lot of time showing dominance towards its own reflection in the glass. He is suprisingly very docile toward all other tanks mates, but hates what he thinks isn't himself? :/

self loathing, prolly just puberty or maybe midlife crisis. give him his first beer, tell him how cool his is, get him a sportscar and a young girlfriend. that should cover all the bases. man, i could go for some self-loathing right now!

obviously i have no idea but its a fun bump!

you could let the sides green up or you could put some white paper on either side so that he cant see his reflection but if you just let him go he might stop doing it my blue tang has been doing it for ages but seems to be doing it less and less i let the sides green up for a bit just cleaned them yesterday he doesnt seem to be doing it today
