Skimmer acting funny

i have an aquac remora HOB skimmer. last night i noticed it was a little louder then normal but didn't think much of it. Tonight i noticed that the bubbles coming up in the center section don't look right. it looks more like large "boiling water" type bubbles rather then the normal foam.

just cleaned it last week, but i am going to run the brush through the injector passage right now to be sure. i also use wet paper towels over the left most camber to quiet it down, but have done this from day one (about 3 months ago) and was told by marindepot.com that it would not affect the skimmer.

any ideas??

 

I don't know but they do have excellent customer service. I would probably call them tomorrow.

BTW: its a maxi jet 1200 if that would matter, and no surface skimmer box

 

figured it out...............never called AquaC cause after i cleaned the injector it went away (wasn't it though). i feed tonight and put a little to much selcon in with the mysis but wasnt worried about it. with moments of dumping the food in the tank the skimmer got all whacked out again. i guess its the oil in the selcon or something. i am assuming it will go away in a little while.
