The more research I am doing, the more I am thinking about going with a bigger sump. I have the room, might as well use it.

The problem is the overflow piping from my fuge comes in fairly low, so I don't have much height to work with. So I pretty much have to get a long tank or a 40b.

After talking with aquacave, I have decided that the SM161 is what I will go with. I am going to try to hold off upgrading my sump for the time being (since my plumbing from the remote fuge doesn't give me many tank options that are available for cheap) and I think this is the perfect compromise as it will fit wonderfully and provide the skimming I need.

If you go with the Bubble Magus, just make sure the pump doesn't have the mesh wheel impeller. Those are junk! I recently purchased the NAC-77, not the 7, and its got dual Atman 2500 pumps with the mesh wheels, it comes with a spare impeller for each pump since you are supposed to replace them every 6 months due to detritus buildup... But I broke 4 impellers, and another one I superglued back together, in 3 days... But the needle wheel impellers work spectacular!

Might consider waiting for Vertex Omega 125. Suppoused to be out soon, but there are no concrete dates anywhere.

Premium Aquatics has the Omega 150 which they say is good for any tank from 40g-200g. Price is $379 if I'm not mistaken
