Skimmer advise

I have used the smaller capacity skimmer Psk-75 on my 40B w/ 20g sump and it worked great for the money. It produced very dark & smelly skimmate when it was broken in. I had to clean the neck almost everyday as well as empty the cup almost daily. It had a few restart issues at first when it was brand new, but it eventually worked out the kinks on its own by letting it run constantly. Overall it was a good skimmer for the money. I ran mine for 2 years non stop. I only got rid of it since I took down that tank.
