skimmer being wierd

    Did that lower the water level so the air bubbles have more time to do their job? What I predict will happen is after a few hours the water level will be too low and the bubbles wont reach the cup. If thats the case you will need to cut the output tube shorter and put it back on. Might take a few tries cutting it shorter each time until its right. Leave a little room for adjusting up and down on the tube.

    Glad I could help man. I was scratching my head at this one for two days. lol

    i took it off and all the foam that came out i moved into a different container and i took out about 3 cup of foam.
    then it started to become normal again.

    nope its not foaming anymore.
    oops i meant to say before i took it off i took out 3 cups foam to see if it would help but it didnt.
