    I have to agree here too. Why plan to buy twice? If you know you will need a larger skimmer in the relatively near future, just buy a larger rated skimmer. I've bought several pieces of equipment twice when I was starting out and really regretted it. I ended up spending a lot more then if I would have just bought the right piece of equipment to begin with.
