I'm sure you guys remember my skimmer having issues before with it never working right. Well for the past month or two my octopus bh 800s had been leaking and causing a lot of water loss, roughly only 1 or 2 gallons, but that's a lot of constant water sitting on the second story floor.

For a while I had thought it was the filter sock causing the issue, but this time it was not, and the bottom of the skimmer was soaking wet.

So now it's time for a new skimmer, I seriously have to get one this time since my skimmer has finally failed on me for the last time, and I will be going skimmerless until I can get a new one.

So any ideas on a HOB, has to be HOB that will fit on a 46 bow, and be able to support a large bioload.

Price needs to be $300 max

This skimmer is honestly not worth the trouble, I have had non stop issues with it over the past 8 months and have been putting off getting a new skimmer, and now the time has finally come to where I have to get one.

Oh and my parents don't pay for anything, although I wish they would, I'd sure save me a lot of money
