Skimmer came in today!!!!!!!

YAAAAHHHHHH!!!! new skimmer came its a Aqua c remora HOB skimmer and its not that loud which is good i cant wait for it to start producing skimmate and having my GHA go away. how long would you say till i start seeing results in my GHA going away or browning up

it could be quicker but don't be surprised if it takes a few weeks to make a dent in existing algae colonies. just depends and I don't really know your particular scenario.

but i'd bet you could see some improvements within a week (it'll take a few days or so to really break in anyway)

 

Why don't you get a new toothbrush and just brush it away lol That's what I did & it when away for good.

You're headed in the right direction.

I see you have a refugium so that helps too.
If you aren't already .. Get a GFO reactor. GHA needs nutrients to live- NO3 and PO4. Wipe them out and the GHA will go away.
It could take months or not even go away if you don't get the nutrients low enough.
