Hello everyone. Can anyone recommend a skimmer for a 10 gallon nano tank that will also increase circulation? I keep mostly corals and a couple of fish. I currently use a submersible Fluval 2 but the tank is showing signs of poor water (got info from other posts). I would like something quiet and obviously external or extremely small due space constraints. Am I from out of space or is this possible???

I was thinking of this one :
Nano Reef Aquarium Water Quality: Fission Nano Skimmer Protein Skimmers

I can't see where the water goes in and out of it. I guess I don't understand the concept of it.

I've heard nothing but bad things about that skimmer wouldn't bother with it.

I have the skimmer you are asking about...
and I have NEVER hated something so much in my entire life. If you enjoy your tank being full of bubbles, then this skimmer is for you......

I picked up a 180 jebo? and i'm now using it.. while it's over-kill, atleast it's not a bubble factory.

I've been using that one for a few weeks to test it, and its junk, doesn't do a thing but throw bubbles into the tank.

    self-cleaning heads for Bubble King

I'm thinking of getting a Bubble King 200. Any advantage to laying down some more bucks and getting the Deluxe model?

Is the external one any better than the internal?

And, what about those self-cleaning heads. Major money, but geez, what a wonderful luxury. Anybody tried a self-cleaning head on their skimmer? I think they must be new.

    Thanks.
