    Hey guys... New 40 gallon tank is being established... I do not have a sump... What are your recommendations for me to use for a HOB verison?

    reef octopus seems to be the crowd fave! I had good luck with my coralife 65 but with alot of mods! You can buy it for cheap! 3 weeks of use and skimmed like crazy! I got a hydor slim skim for pure aesthetic reasons and like it alot! pretty sure it doesn't skim as well as the coralife but it does a good job plus it doubles as a surface skimmer!
