Hello fellow reefers! I am moving to AZ in the next month or two and will be doing a new 46 bowfront build. I'm getting all my equipment and wanted to here peoples thoughts on my skimmer options. Will be doing a DIY sump/fuge that will be about 30 gal. I should have a total water volume around 65 gal or so with all rock and such in the DT. This will be a reef tank.

So, what are my BEST options for 65 total gallons

I suggest setting a price range to along your other requirements, otherwise you'll end up with a skimmer that cost more than the rest of your equipment combined.

I don't think I would wanna pay more than $250 or so. I know there are quite a few awesome skimmers out there for that price and water volume.

In sump would be best as I am not a fan of HOB skimmers. Thanks in advance for your input!
