Alright so I've had my 90 gallon for quite some time and I've stuck it out with my modded SeaClown :cry:haha for the time being and I am ready to get a different skimmer very soon. I do not have a sump at the moment but I was wondering what would be a good H.O.B. skimmer for my 90? (if it is just a h.o.b. that is fine but if it can be a h.o.b & a in-sump that would be preferred for later on down the road) I'm always reading up on skimmers but for the moment I would like to stick to a h.o.b. and have read good things about AquaC Remora and Octopus skimmers so any input would be much appreciated. Thanks;D

Is a sump out of the question? I ask because you can get a lot better quality skimmer if you opt for a sump or even a sump/fuge. A 20g long or a 30 gallon would do just fine under your 90. I run a 20g long. I would suggest a 30. It fills up fast, especially if you do the sump/fuge setup......

thanks for the response guys, PharmrJohn....the sump/fuge isnt out of the question....i got a 29 laying around but the glass is cracked lol and I do have two spare 10 gallons but I'm not sure if that is big enough for the 90 and how to set it up as a sump/fuge as well as all the plumbing
