skimmer for custom sump

    Tunze makes great stuff, but for whatever reason, I've read a couple reviews where they were kinda dissapointed with the skimmers and recommended getting a bigger one than they did. FYI.

    I had a Remora and it would fit well behind the sump, but I grew increasingly wary of it and decided it wasn't that efficient. I picked up a hang on the back Turboflotor 1000 multi (check the review section) and I am very happy with it. You need a lot of room for it though.

    An asm in sump skimmer would be my choice, as long as you keep it clean it works like a champ

    Yes there are! way too many to choose from. So I ended up ordering a Aqua Medic Turboflotor 1000 Hang On with pump and a cpr CS90 overflow box (hopefully not too large). I can't wait for everything to arrive, and I hope I made good choices...thanks to everyone for your input.
