I am looking for a good Skimmer for around $100, i just started a 29 build and right now I am using my old Sea-clone skimmer(over-priced aeration pump)

    Any suggestions?

A CPR backback skimmer is good for that tank size..You may be able to find it used for around $100..

Or you could find a CoralifeSuperskimmer 65..You can probably find that under $100.

I would take neither. You get what you pay for, while they will work, they aren't exactly great. Increase your budget for a skimmer a little bit and buy a better skimmer.

Not sure if there is a thread on 3reefs about it but research a CSS mod. There are two main ones. One to get rid of the red knob on it (gate valve mod) and make it easier to adjust. The other main one is adding an air pump to it and make it pull more air more consistently with the stock pumps on them.
