I have a PM Bullet 1, yes I did a water change yesterday. Its been 24 hours.

But, When I first got it I could raise the elbow up, and raise the water level inside the skimmer at least halfway up. Now I can't even get it past one inch! Also there is hardly any bubbles being made. Should I atribute all this to the water change? I looked inside the pump and there was nothing obsructing it...

Help me out guys and gals.

I would say you have some type of an obstruction in the plumbing or pump. You have checked the pump, but have you checked the rest of the plumbing and the beckett head on the skimmer? The openings in the beckett head are not real large so many things that make it through the pump can plug the beckett head.

Good point. I bet a peice of carbon has lodged itself in there somewhere. How do I go about taking apart the injector?

You need to clean the air injector. or the muffler is plugged. both are easy fixes. You can dip the muffler in water and scrub debris off it. I think its the injector personally just take it our and clean it. I have had to clean mine about once a month but it only take a few minutes. As the part I shipped you was a month ago I think you might need a good ol cleaning. Also I have to clean the cup about every three days.

There is something in the injector diffuser what model do you have the new or old series ? the new one just unscrew that lock nut on the inlet top there is a long black thing that will pull of of the inlet fitting in the black cap then a O ring on that remove the O ring take injector body apart . you have a control valve on the outlet .
It does not take much to slow the flow through the injector body But again it can take a day for them to settle in and if ypu feed or mess with it they will go flat and stay like that for a while

I have not taken one apart on a bullet, but most of them, have the beckett mounted in a 2 part housing that you can take apart. Once the beckett is out, there is a sleeve on each end that holds it together. Remove the sleeves, the "tube" will seperate into 2 pieces with another third piece in the middle. Pretty easy to do just make sure you pay attention to the direction of the water flow and how the center piece goes in.

here is a view of the becket itself
