I noticed a week ago the filter was not bubling anymore. I unplugged it opened it up to make sure nothing was caught in the propeller. Plugged it in and it was up and running. Two days later it was out again. It pulls water in and spits it back out but no bubbles and doesnt spit any gunk up. Any ideas peoples?

Did you check the airline? When's the last time you cleaned the whole skimmer, pump included?

The coralife is prone to salt/calcium buildup where the airline connects. You may need to clean that.

The problem is that you have a coralife 65!! ;)

I have one too, and that would happen after I cleaned it. It turns out I didn't have the venturi part of the pump (the entire area that sticks out of the pump where it pulls in the water/air) seated correctly, and then it wouldn't pull air like it should.
