    does eveyone elses skimmer neck look like mud? my aquac ev120 looks like there is a layer of mud in the neck.

    Does this mean it isnt dialed in properly?

    it's just fine. It's poo collecting on the sides of the neck

    i assumed... but when i started way back in feb i had alot of trouble dialing it in... but thanks. it is a lot of poop.

    Is it the neck that you remove to clean or the part of the neck that remains?

    If it's the part of the neck that comes off with the collection cup, that is totally normal

    no its on the part that reminans so thats why i think i have it incorrectly setup.

    i have the aquacv 400. mine does the same, i think it is normal for this type of skimmer.

    ah ic. i thought the "neck" inside the collection cup was the only one where is should be... but i guess since i have been running for 8 months now it will be ok.... i think
