My Aqua C hang on hasn't produced any foam in a little more than a week. I have about 50lbs of LR, 2 damsels, a cleaner shrimp, and a turbo snail.

Shouldn't this thing be producing some foam, or is this normal?

Have you cleaned the riser tube? Do you frequently put hands in the tank (I know I do...hehe) Hand in the tank will cause the foam to collapse, as will feeding. You should clean riser tubes at least once per week, and preferably every other day if you can swing it ;D

Which AquaC is this? My old Remora did the same thing after a while, even after I cleaned it. It seemed to only work well with high bio-loads.

I have the Aqua C Remora with the maxi jet. I washed it off with some tap water a few weeks ago. I'm going to check the water later, hopefully it's alright.

Take the white plastic screw out of the top of the injector tube and run the small cleaning brush down through the jet a few times. They do get stuff built up and the hole gets smaller. If you look straight down through the screw hole just before you clean it then after you will see the jet will look bigger. Thats all the buildup on the jet that comes off when you bruch it out. This needs to be done once a month. Also you can upgrade to a better pump for 15 bucks that will make it work much better. If you are intrested let me know and I will tell you what to but to make your skimmer accept the new pump. Its really easy to install and makes a world of difference.
