Skimmer overflowed and leaked on electrical cord!

    yea i've had my skimmer off for a few days now, it was so nice not having any. And when i plugged in my skimmer with with filter sock on i was soo happy because i was able to run my skimmer with no bubbles, i wish i could upgrade, but i'm stuck with what i have

    How's those sump plans working out for you? Where theres a will there's a way.

    so parents came home, and adjusted the filter sock which caused the accident. There is less water in the outtake section, the collection cup still has a lot of water but water is calm and no turbulance, so i think i will be ok. Here are some before and after pictures
