just turn that red knob down as low as it will go..

if that doesnt work their is a grey valve knob you may need to adjust

I was going to post something about my skimmer soon. It has been 15 days in the tank and no skimate yet. I have the red red dial turned down where the bubbles are where they need to be. I dont remember seeing a gray valve knob anywhere in the directions. Is it part of the return?

it should be on the pipe that the pump hangs on..that valve controls the air coming into the skimmer..the red dial changes the water level in the skimmer..

unless you have a different one..post a pic and ill try and help your..after 15 days it should have been broken in by now..

Adjust the red knob and raise the level of the bubbles. I ran this exact skimmer and it worked well when I ran the top of the bubble line around the middle of the collection cup. It worked best running Ozone through it.

The other thing to consider is the depth at which you have the pump, an inch up or down makes a huge difference. Something to tinker with

Im going to check the depth when I get home. I used the HOB hose that came with it and didnt measure it. I bet its deeper than 4".

I recently hung mine on the back, and i had to put the pump around 1 1/2- 2 inches from the top of the water to get the best results
