Skimmer recommendation?

With my lights I don't think I have room for a hang on one unless it was smaller or did not stick above the tank is there anything like that? Wish I had built the sump, but it's going to be a while till I get there

 

so there is no room for a hang on and no sump? Ir does not leave any options. There are some cool hang on skimmers that work quite well its a matter of how mych room you have? do you have info oon size and or tank specs?

There is no room for it to go above the tank because it would hit the light .

do you mean your lights overlap the back of your tank?

because a HOB skimmer hangs on the back outside of the tank and not inside
only a couple of tubes go inside the tank and sometimes a power head ( the power head is in the body of many HOB skimmers)

Will the cup on it be okay if it touches the light? It would be a tight fit, are some bigger/ smaller then the other?

 

how far above the tank is the light?
what type of lights are they?

My Deltec cup, sits approx 5 inches above the top edge of the tank
I dont know, but will assume most other HOB box type skimmers are similar

Can you shoot a couple pics or the demensions of what we are working with. I have a 92 gallon corner and it has a large light on it and there is a ton of room?
