    I'm looking for skimmer recommendations for my new 40 breeder build. I am custom building the sump so I'm just guessing right now that that will add 15-20 gallons to the overall system and can build the sump to fit the skimmer. Budget is $200 but that might go up if the best fit costs a little more.

    That's actually the one that I was looking into, glad to get some validation. Do you have any idea how much heat that would add to the system?

    Shouldn't be anything to worry about. It's only an 11w pump after all. :)
