Sweet, yeah I'm hoping it just fits. The size of my skimmer space is not the biggest but I talked to someone from the company I ordered it and he said the 200 can fit in a standard 10 gallon tank. So it should fit in my sump space just fine. Might just be a pain to take out and maintenance.

How big is your sump space?

MSX skimmer footprint is 11.5 x 13.5 and it fits 10 gallon. But it won't fit in your 10" x 11" skimmer area of your sump.

Uh oh, I think you may be right.

You may be able to squeeze it in the pump sits in a corner of the skimmer chamber, but it's going to be tight.

Yeah its going to be real tight, the exact meausrements of my area are 11.5 x 11.5. I'm thinking of having to put the pump under my sock return area.

You might just make it. The diagonal of your area should be over 16", so it should be able to sit diagonally. The return plumbing from the skimmer can rotate and should fit in there somewhere. Under the input from your overflow is the best spot to put the skimmer pump anyway.

The Xtreme 160 is the same body size and same pump. The difference is the pump is packed directly under the body to save space. The footprint is only 9" X 8.5". I think they should have the same model and here is a link to the SWC one:
