Skimmer stopped when new preskimmer box installed

    So I got a new pre skimmer box with bubble trap for my remora yesterday.
    I had to move things around a little and plugged it back in.It usually is skimming within hours of me shutting it off or cleaning it but it hasnt skimmed for at least 12 hours.Could it be the new plastic box?I washed it off...

    The new box could have had a film or residue on it, I would wait a day and see if things get better before worrying too much.

    Thats what I thought.Its now been 24hours and still no foam.I will keep waiting and test my nitrates just in case.
