I'm not sure if the capacity is there but I've been having pretty good luck with a Kent Nautilus EX on my 120.

I recomend this skimmer (I know it says 500gal rating, but it should be around 240 actaully from what I've been told)

Can you tell what my next skimmer is going to be? These things ROCK. It'll out perform anything on the market in the US in it's size range. FWIW, Euroreef is a knock off of these. The secret is the pump, its much stronger then the Sedras and has a far better pin wheel. I simply can't wait till I pick mine up, I'm having trouble sleeping at night :)

Looks like a good skimmer. Only thing that jumped out at me would be the reaction chamber is only 4" in diameter instead of 6" or 8"?

Due to having a major amount of more contact time (it has a closed loop recirc pump;) ) they don't need as large of a chamber. I've seen a side by side comparison of a Euororeef and a H&S, the H&S blew it away. Another great one would be the Bubble King or a Deltec. All three are fairly similiar, except the Buble King uses titanium pin wheels. Our (US) market is behind the times, really.

Looks pretty good but isnt exactly cheap is it.

I think I'm still going to go for the Aqua C 240 or the AE Tech 600. But most likely the Aqua C.

Everyone seems to think these are pretty good and there doesnt seem to much around thats just as good thats cheaper.

The other ones I have looked at are schuran. The leading reef keeper here in chrischurch NZ uses these and raves about them and has incredible results.

    Anyone else used these?

Schuran and Tunze basicly are the first skimmers on the market. Schurans are good, but by now means in the same class as the Bubble King, H&S and Deltec. Those three are currently the leading skimmers world wide. Like I said, all US skimmers can't touch those three, theres no comparisn. One thing to remember, both skimmers your looking at require the purchase of another pump to run them, all the ones I'm talking about have thier own pump included. They also have some of the worlds finest pumps attached to them.
