I am running the Bubble Magus BM100. I have a light bioload on my 75g. This skimmer is rated for 150g tanks on a light bioload. It resides in 9" of water and sits in the first chamber of my sump. I have the collection cup drain line running to a 1g sunny delight bottle.

Problem is, the skimmer is producing a very wet skimmate. I came home from work today to find the sunny delight bottle full and almost overflowing (the bottle was empty this morning). Is my skimmer over skimming or do I not have it adjusted right?

Sounds like an adjustment problem. If you run the water level in the skimmer lower it will get a dryer skim.

    +1 on those 2

raising the height of the skimmer has same effect, if you cant lower the depth of the water the skimmer is sat in , thats why many people have a plastic shelf in their sumps to raise seated height of skimmer.

adjustable out pipes will solve the problem as well, unless yours doesn't have one then you need to adjust the water level, or use a "shelf"

Thanks for the responces. I used some egg crate and raised the skimmer 2" and adjusted the out pipes. I think I have it figured out.
