I am getting my income tax return and I need to get a few things, I am getting rid of my wet dry and getting an Eshopps Reef Berlin filtration system with filter socks. I have a skimmer compartment that is 12 x 10 and I need a skimmer bad! Mine died about a month ago and I have been going without. I have narrowed it down to two different skimmers, an Eshopps PSK 100 or a Reef Octopus give, me some ideas or suggestions. Both run around 150.00 and that is what my budget is.

    Eshopps:

    Reef Octopus:

I considered the Octo because they've been highly recommended, so I'd go with that one. I'm only choosing the Bubble Magus because Octo's smallest one is a little too big for my needs.

I've had the reef octo for 6 months and have no complaints. I believe the one in you link is the older version though. It doesn't have the red handle gate valve they use now. Be sure if you decide to get octo to get the newer version. Hope this helps.

I have been using an Eshopps for 8+ months now and couldn't be happier.
