Skimmer tuning

    having a hard time tuning the POS 'seaclone 100'. It's junk.... i know... but i was given an offer i couldnt refuse. how long does this "break in" period i hear of usually take? its on a 25 gallon, do i want the air intake more open or closed? anything specific im looking for during function to make sure its tuned properly? as always, any advice is highly appriciated.....

    I started out with a Seaclone 100. My break-in period was about a week, with the air intake mostly closed. Be careful about additives in your water, as they will make the skimmer create microbubbles. Mine actually worked pretty well for about a year.
