skimmer voltage question

    I am in the processes of ordering a SWC 120 cone skimmer. I have a step down transformer from 220v - 110v. The people I am ordering from have informed me that the skimmer is a 120v and that if I run it at 110v it might have start up issues.

    Not knowing enough about these things I need some advice. I would like to run it from my Apex, but if running a 120v on a 110v outlet will cause issues, I will have to get the 220v?

    Ignore this question, I should have read the details of the transformer before posting. It says:

    Allows Use of 110/120 Volts North American Products in countries where there is 220 volts electricity such as Asia, Europe, and Africa

    So that answered my question. Can't seem to delete the thread
