Skimmer won't stop foaming and overflowing

I was having a cyano problem so I did a treatment about a week ago. For the treatment I shut off my Carbon reactor and my SRO skimmer. I turned both on last wednesday, and since then my skimmer has been foaming non stop and overflowing. It was putting so many bubbles and oxygen in the water all the corals were closed up. I put my return pump in a micron bag which fixed that. I have Done a 10 and 5 gallon water change, and changed the carbon, but it is still foaming like crazy. It's been 5 days since turning the skimmer back on, any suggestions? If the skimmer was working right, I would have emptied my collection cup twice by now, just worried about then water quality. Thanky your for your help.

 

Can you adjust yours? If so tune it down. Not sure what kind you have.

 

I have a super reef octopus and it's as turned down as low as possible

 

What cyano removing product did you use?I know chemiclean will make your skimmer go crazy for up to two weeks.And they say 20% wc after treatment,but it takes several more wc's to get your skimmer working normal again.I also run carbon to aid in the removal of the product afterwords.I've only ever used it twice,but had your same skimmer issues,it'll calm down after enough wc's are preformed.

After i did a medicine treatment my skimmer foamed like crazy for a week, even after a 25% water change. It will get better after awhile.

 

do a lger wc and carbon...good quality carbon. not the cheap junk

 

once you go GAC, you'll never go back... : / lol
