    Yeah, it was me. I have been doing that for close to a month now. I will post my results after a period of 4-6 months. I have most of my corals "counted" to see if I see a "jump" in growth.

    I have always run a skimmer, but my skimmer I had broke so my tank was skimmer less for about 6 months, I know, I was a little lazy. I thought that it wouldn't be too bad, my bio load was light, I ran carbon and did frequent water changes. However, after a month or two, my water was looking more cloudy and my corals were showing signs of stunted growth. It's not scientific data, but the only variable was my skimmer, everything else was the exact same, no new livestock, same maintainance schedule etc. Daniel was right when he asked if you would be comfortable dumping a cup of skimate into your tank. It may seem like an exageration and a sarcastic remark, but it's the truth.
