skimmers for 8 gal?

    got a biocube, 8 gal, i cant find any skimmers that really "fit". are they even neccesary? is there like a DIY skimmer?

    You can buy a oceanic biocube skimmer, that SHOULD fit, not sure of the dimensions but they are not that big..

    Why dont you get a sump for the 8g and you could get a better skimmer, get like a 20g long sump or something, and on top of that, it will be easier to keep up with and more stable.

    EDIT: I am not sure if the skimmer for the biocube is only for 14g and 29g though.

    yeah i forgot to mention the Oceanic is for 14's and 29's....funny i've got and empty 20 gallon long sitting around....only down side is that its a terrarium :-X could it still be used?
